Vacanza Romana: Authentic Italian Dining Experience in El Dorado Hills

We made a last minute reservation via Open Table for Friday evening. We were welcomed by 2 smiling hostesses and seated immediately. Our server was Jordan and she was delightful. Our drinks were refreshed and our meals were excellent. I had modified a salad to be vegan and as a complete surprise, the chef created a completely VEGAN RAGU just for me! It was delish! This is not on the menu and was an impromptu creation based on me mentioning I was vegan to our server. I felt seen & appreciated as a customer. My vegan ragu was amazing and I think adding it as an option for plant based guests would be amazing. We were thanked on our way out by the hostesses who were keeping busy even when they were not seating guests. You have a lovely staff that definitely prioritizes guest service. Well done!

This Italian restaurant is a must go. Came here with some friends to have dinner and let me say it’s been so refreshing, delicious, and delicate. Service was phenomenal at another level. We tried the strawberry and Cesar it was the best. We also had their mushroom stuffed ravioli, classic truffle pasta, halibut seafood dish for the first time and that was amazing. Highly recommended place to try.

We absolutely loved our experience here. The atmosphere was so beautiful and relaxing, the service and staff were a delight, the wine and drink menus were phenomenal, dinner was delicious, and dessert was out of this world. I had a Pixie Spritz prosecco cocktail, and it was one of if the most delightful, refreshing, unique drinks I've had in quite awhile. The chicken from the chicken Parmesan was moist, crispy, and pure perfection. The tiramisu was to die for. .. and will bring me back... probably sooner rather than later.

Food was very good, they brought us a complementary squad ravioli appetizer. We had bruschetta which was different- strawberries vs tomatoes but delicious. I had chicken parmigiana which was enough to feed a family of four.

5 stars. My family talked afterwards and everyone had an excellent experience. Our server Celeste was on point. The other staff members I spoke with were super cool. The taste was spectacular. I did feel the portion size was a "little" smaller, but I felt full at end of meal. Definitely a professional team and a great restaurant. We will be back.

Dined here tonight for our anniversary. My Father is very hard of hearing and we asked if they might turn thr music down which they were so kind to accommodate. We ordered the calamari to start (which was yummy)and all of a sudden the manager brought us a new order saying the chef didn’t feel it was up to his standards. The rest of the meal was fantastic. Everything was fresh, artfully plated and delicious. Dominic was attentive and made our meal thoughtful and special. We hadn’t been back in some time and unlike some restaurants whose quality goes down we all felt this restaurant is in its stride. The focaccia used to lack salt and it was so much better - the pasta was perfect and the halibut was chefs kiss. It was a perfect, lovely meal.
